With ideas for preschoolers, tweens and in-betweens, these 17 cute Halloween party favors make planning for your party easy as pumpkin pie!
Confession: I struggle with Halloween party favors.
It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just that I have a love-hate relationship with party favors in general. As a parent, I don’t want a lot of extra junk lying around my house. But on the other hand, it just feels wrong not to give something out at the end of a party.
To make things even more difficult, I’ve got kids at every stage…with a preschooler, a very unicorn-obsessed 7-year-old, and a full on tween.
They all love different things. So if we’re planning one party for all of their friends, finding a Halloween party favor to fit all of their ages gets difficult.
That’s why I thought it would be fun to take a look at some super cute party favors that most kids can love. We may still set out different favors for each age group, but most of these will work for
17 Totally Cute (not creepy) Halloween Party Favors
With ideas for preschoolers, tweens and in-betweens, these 17 cute Halloween party favors make planning for your party easy as pumpkin pie!
Soaps and Bath Bombs
Both of my girls (the 7-year-old and the tween) are super into bath bombs right now, so I know any of these party favors would be a huge hit.
Plus, at that age, it doesn’t hurt to emphasize cleanliness...you know?
Eyeball Soap Favors
Okay, so these are a little bit creepy, but in all the best, gross-out ways possible.
I bet the kids would find these these soaps irresistible at your party.
Cauldron Bath Bombs
Look at all the the fizz from these cauldron bath bombs! It’s enough to make any kid feel like they’re part of the potion that is brewing.
Candy Corn Soap
Wanting something more cute than creepy? This candy corn soap is perfect. It’s exactly the kind of thing my 7-year-old would want to get.
Pumpkin Cake Bath Bombs
Then again, there’s nothing more classic for fall and Halloween than pumpkins, so pumpkin cake bath bombs would be adorable for kids of all ages.
Eternal Foaming Glitter Coffin Bath Bomb
Admittedly, these are my favorite bath bombs in the group.
Kids are going to love how glittery these Eternal Foaming Cauldron Bath Bombs are, and I love that the seller includes all the ingredients in the listing!
More Big Kid and Tween Favor Ideas
If your kids turn their noses up at the idea of handing out soap or anything hygiene related, here are some other great Halloween party favors:
Witches Broom Pens - 24 ct
Do you have a Harry Potter fan in your house? If so, then this set of Witches Broom Pens is perfect!
Though, you might have to watch out for kids fantasizing about playing quidditch instead of doing homework.
Halloween Slap Bracelets
Slap Bracelets have come a long way since I was a kid. Do you remember how they always stung when you would use them?
It seems like that’s all changed now and all three of my kids can't get enough. At least we know that the leftovers would be enjoyed!
Halloween Mini Spiral Notepads
We can’t keep enough notepads in our house. Our kids use them to draw, to write their own stories, to create pretend menus for playing kitchen.
It’s amazing how quickly they go through them! So, these Halloween notepads would be a fantastic option for your goody bags.
Party Favors for Preschoolers and Toddlers
Preschoolers and toddlers are the most difficult age group to buy for. Not only do you have to worry more about safety, but they’re also more likely to get freaked out by the scary stuff.
These next few ideas are best for the younger crowd, since they focus more on imagination and cuteness than anything else.
Halloween Bubble Favors
Toddlers and little kids loooooove bubbles. And since these bottles are small, the risk of mess isn’t too big. Plus, those faces on top are just adorable!
Stretchy Glitter Skeleton
My 4-year-old got ahold of a party favor similar to these stretchy skeletons recently and just couldn’t get enough, so I’m pretty sure these would be a hit.
(And since they’re pretty cheap, I wouldn’t feel terrible getting rid of them after a few days...not that I ever do that with my kids’ toys. ?)
Halloween Party Glasses for Kids
Toddlers love to dress up. I’ve got a fun DIY mask template you could use as a party activity, or you can make it easy on yourself and grab this set of Halloween party glasses.
Let the kids play with them during the party and then take a pair home with them when they leave.
Goofy Monster Lollipops
I don’t know any kid that doesn’t like lollipops. And for preschoolers, these goofy monster lollipops will be just as much fun to eat as they are to look at.
Halloween Bead Necklaces with Light-Up Pumpkin
I love the idea of these Halloween light up necklaces. The reviews are a little spotty, but wouldn’t they be awesome for a nighttime party or as something the kids can wear as they walk around on Halloween night?

Halloween Coffin Favor Boxes
I’m in love with all the intricate detail of these coffin Coffin Favor Boxes. The skeleton is great for older kids and tweens, but the bat version is great for little kids that might get freaked out more easily.

How adorable are these favor boxes?
If you’ve got a wide age range of kids, the designs here are cute enough for the little ones, but also detailed enough that older kids won’t feel too big for whatever you put inside.
