Adding Easter lunch box jokes to your kid’s lunches can be a fun way to keep them entertained and make their days brighter. Many busy moms with young kids have to work full-time, leaving their little ones in the care of someone else while they are away.
It can be difficult for children to understand why mommy or daddy needs to work and can leave them feeling lonely or sad. Adding a few Easter joke cards to their lunches is an easy way to show your little ones that you are thinking about them, even when you’re not around. - White paper or card stock
- Scissors or a paper trimmer
- Snack sized zip top bags, optional
Tips for Preparing Your Easter Lunch Box Jokes
The proper preparation is essential to make sure your joke cards and love notes are not only fun and funny, but are also sturdy, crisp, and clear.
- While you can use regular printer paper, white card stock will look nicer and will hold up better. (This is especially important if you have kids that can get a little rough or will pass the cards around the lunch table)
- If you have a Cricut, instructions are included for using Cricut’s print-and-cut feature to make cutting them a breeze.
- Don’t have a cutting machine? Scissors will work fine, but a paper trimmer does a fantastic job of easily cutting out a large batch without making uneven cuts.
- Before the Easter season gets too far underway, print and cut out all the cards. Then keep them tucked away in a kitchen drawer inside a plastic bag for safekeeping. This way they’ll be ready to go when you’re packing lunches before school.
