Get ready for the ultimate game day twist that will have your living room roaring with laughter and excitement—Football Commercials Bingo!
Let’s face it, for some folks, the main event isn’t the game – it’s the ads. They come for the football party food and stay for the commercials. With this set of free printable bingo cards, every ad break turns into a mini-game day showdown.
So download your set at the end of this post, gather your friends and family, grab some snacks, and get ready to yell “BINGO!” at this year’s Super Bowl.
What is Super Bowl Commercial Bingo?
It’s exactly what it sounds like – a bingo game that makes those those highly anticipated Super Bowl commercials even more exciting. Let me explain…
Instead of just watching the commercials passively, you can now actively participate in a competitive game with your friends and family.
As brands pull out all the stops to make their ad stand out from the rest, you’ll be marking off squares labeled with this year’s brands and celebrity cameos. Save the bathroom breaks for the game, you don’t want to miss a single commercial that could lead you to a bingo win.
What’s Included in the Free File
Here’s what you’ll get in the free download:
- 6 pages of brightly colored bingo cards
- Each page includes two 4″x6″ bingo cards to help conserve printer ink, and
- A call-out card with all of the brands and celebrity cameos included in the game, just in case you want to keep track of the commercials or play another time.
Don’t forget…All the cards are unique – there are no duplicates!
How to Play Game Day Commercials Bingo
You’ll Need
- Printable bingo cards (free copy at the bottom of the post, or download a full set here)
- Scissors to cut apart the cards
- Bingo markers – We like to use Hershey’s kisses to keep things sweet, but you can also use spare coins, loose buttons, or any other small object.
- A prize for the winner. Bragging rights are always an option, but if you want to be the MVP, you can offer a small gift (some ideas are listed below)
Set up and Play:
- Print out the desired number of bingo cards plus one call-out card.
- Cut the cards out along the edges, or simply cut down the middle of the page.
- During commercial breaks, mark off squares on your bingo card that correspond with commercials or brands you see.
- When you get five squares in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), yell “BINGO!” or “TOUCHDOWN!”
Tips to Make it More Exciting:
- Halftime Showdown: Got a tie on your hands? Use the halftime show for bonus rounds. Spot a celebrity? Dance move bingo, anyone?
- Embrace Rivalry: Encourage some friendly competition with playful trash talk and challenges—nothing bonds people like rooting for different squares.
- Super Bowl Snack Buffet: Assemble a smorgasbord of game day appetizers and football party desserts to nibble on throughout the game. Victory tastes sweet, but snacks keep the energy up!
- Capture the Memories: Snap a photo with every “BINGO!” winner. At the end of the night, you’ll have a hall of fame for your game day champions.

- Food: Get creative with a homemade goodie bag of your favorite game day desserts and snacks or a small container of store bought bites.
- Gift Cards: You don’t have to break the bank, offer up a small gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bass Pro Shops, or your favorite local sports bar. (Even $5 is a great prize!)

- Gear – You can never go wrong with swag, water bottles, keychains, or even football themed fidgets
Making Prize-Giving a Blast!
The sweet triumph of nabbing the game day bingo jackpot shouldn’t just be about handed over a prize! Make the award ceremony as memorable as a halftime show with these quirky twists:
- Halftime Hustle: The winner becomes the halftime Hero! They score a temporary (but intensely coveted) crown and get to dictate the intermission entertainment – imagine the wild dance-offs!
- Custom Trophy: Ever dreamed of holding aloft a bedazzled broomstick or a mighty mop adorned with streamers? Well, now’s the chance. The odder, the better – because who forgets the day they won a glittering garden gnome?
- Autograph Session: Feel like a VIP by having everyone sign the prize as a memento. Bonus! If the prize is a football, it instantly becomes a treasured keepsake.
- Hilarious Handicaps: Make the winner of each round complete a silly challenge, such as cheering for their favorite team in an exaggerated voice or wearing a foam finger on their head.
Incorporate these interactive ideas and watch the prize-giving transform into a riotous event that’ll be talked about until next year’s Super Bowl bash! 🎉🏈
