Six Gorgeous Fall Wreaths to Make Today

There’s something about the crisp fall air that makes me want to hang a wreath. I don’t know what it is. Maybe it’s because wreaths are so inviting, and fall is the earliest start to the holiday season, when we invite family and friends into our homes. A pretty wreath sets the tone for entering your home. It could be rustic, or crafty, or traditional.

Greet your guests in style this fall with a rustic wreath on your front door. These six gorgeous fall wreaths are the perfect way to get started.

Lately, I’ve seen several wreaths around the net that are perfect for fall. They make me want to raid my craft stash and pull out my hot glue gun. It was hard narrowing it down, but these six gorgeous fall wreaths are perfect for an afternoon of fall crafting.

I’m head over heels for this gorgeous hexagon wreath made by Cherished Bliss.  It’s the combination of clean lines with that rustic touch that I love. And the mini chalk bunting – so cute!
We (I) painted our front door a beautiful shade of red last fall, and something neutral with a lot of texture would be a perfect compliment to it.  Plus, the wreath is just made with a wire form and a canvas drop cloth.  So simple! (see the tutorial at Live Laugh Rowe)
It’s the flowers on this wreath that make it so special.  And how fun are those button centers?! No surprise it’s from Craftaholics Anonymous!
Can you believe this wreath (found at Popsugar) is made from brown paper bags?  With all the renovations we’ve been going through, we have a giant roll of brown craft paper that would be perfect for recreating this technique.  I wonder how it would look if I let the kids paint the paper first?

The ladies over at Cherished Bliss did it again with this different take on a corn kernel wreath.  There’s just something about dried corn kernels that scream fall, you know?

This raffia wreath from Stone Gable Blog is a bit older, but I love the texture and neutral tones of it.  Plus, it’s just a bit more wild and carefree than the others – and probably would stand up much better to kid fingers than a lot of the others.

It’s so hard to choose a favorite, isn’t it? I know I would be happy to see any of these gorgeous fall wreaths on my front door on a crisp autumn day. Wouldn’t you?

Do you decorate with wreaths?
