I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m a huge Beatles fan.  I may be dating myself here a bit, but I still remember raiding my father’s LP stash as a kid and playing Sgt. Pepper over and over and over again.  I know I’m not totally alone in this, so I thought I’d share this absolutely adorable Yellow Submarine first birthday party from Bonnie at Shoomie Occassions.

I love how Bonnie used records throughout the party – starting with this record on the front door.  What a great alternative to a wreath!

I love how she took very popular ‘boy’ colors (red, yellow, blue) and incorporated them in a way that adds more of a 60s feel than a typical first birthday.  I especially love that submarine decal!
