Learn how to make a cheap and easy braided plastic tablecloth backdrop that can be customized for any party theme.

It’s simple but impressive!

you'll need:

– 3 plastic tablecloths in coordinating colors – Backdrop Frame or wall – Stapler and Staples – Duct Tape – Clips or clothespins (optional) – Sharp scissors

Step 1

Unfold and layer 3 plastic tablecloths on a solid surface. Do your best to make sure the edges line up.

Step 2

Staple along the top edge, roughly 4-6 inches apart.

Step 3

Use duct tape to attach the stapled edge to your backdrop frame

Step 4

Cut off any uneven or excess portions of tablecloth from the bottom of your backdrop.

Step 5

Hold together all three tablecloths with a bit of tape, a paper clip, or a clothespin on the bottom sides.

Step 6

Cut slits most of the way up all three tablecloths, leaving about 6 attached at the top.

Step 7

Braid one set of strips 3-4 times from the top of the tablecloth.

Step 8

Fluff the hanging strips and add your remaining decorations.
