This weekend we’ll be celebrating Easter with my family and two of T’s cousins. But I couldn’t let the holiday go by without a proper celebration, so we’re throwing a party by committee. My sister is in charge of the Easter egg hunt, my stepmother is making dinner, and I’m bringing the Bunny Buffet full of treats for the kids.
Post-bedtime hours have been filled with projects galore and I can’t wait to see how they all come together for the celebration.
Easter and spring are the perfect time to decorate with softer tones. Pinks, pale turquoise, soft yellows, and light greens dominate. Add in plenty of flowers, birds nests, and baby chicks and you have a recipe for the most adorable Easter buffet ever. You can tell from my Easter inspiration board below that I stuck with all of these elements for the bunny buffet this weekend. As far as what inspired the buffet, springtime always makes me think of soft pastels, flowers, and birds nests. Those were my primary inspiration for this table. But a lot of the feminine touches like loads of ribbons have also been catching my eye.
I really can’t wait to pull everything together and to come back and share with you the final results. Stay tuned over the next week or so for all the fun little details!
Here’s a little bit of my Easter inspiration in advance….
