In honor of T’s Cookie party tomorrow, today is dedicated to both Etsy and cookies!
A few weeks ago, I posted about Dainty Delights and the amazing Christmas cookies Renee has over there. Well, she recently contacted me about some faberge inspired egg treats…and…WOW! They look amazing! Not only that, she has also put up some gorgeous cookies with vintage Christmas images. Oh, if only I’d seen these earlier…they would definitely have been in tomorrow’s menu! Seriously…I’ve started looking for a reason to incorporate some of these gorgeous cookies!
When I first got started seriously planning tomorrow’s party, I had every intention of ordering some of these wafer papers from Queen of Tarts Wafers. Unfortunately, I had to admit that I didn’t have the time to learn a new technique. (Although there are some adorable designs that I expect will be a fabulous addition to another party I have early next year!) The designs she has are just incredible. I love the vintage feel of most of her wafers. Most of them are somewhat unexpected for cookies or cupcakes, which would be stunning on any party display.
How pretty are these little squares from Broken Road Farm? The best part…they are actually chocolate-covered graham crackers! These would be so fantastic next to some fun Christmas marshmallows for a DIY Smores bar. YUM!
At first glance, I thought these little cookie gingerbread houses from FunFavors were very cute. Then I started to take a look at more of the details, and was just flabbergasted! Seriously, take a closer look. Those roofs are actually covered with teeny tiny candy canes! Take a look at some of the other listings and you’ll see more attention to detail, like nonpareils perfectly placed on top of a present as the ribbon bow, and sprinkles placed so perfectly that they look like flowers trailing on a 3-tiered wedding cake.
If I get the chance, I’ll be posting a Christmas cookie recipe from T’s party tomorrow. If it doesn’t happen then, I’ll post it later in the week. Happy Friday everyone!

I'm reading this right now while drinking my nice warm cup of coffee and am thinking I should switch out my oatmeal for a sugar cookie because that is sounding SO much better after looking at those pictures : )
