Can you believe it? Valentine’s Day is only one month away. Well, 31 days to be exact. We just finally got the last of our Christmas decorations down Sunday. Instead of focusing just on all the sweets for the holiday (though I’m already working on something for that end…yummy!) here are a few crafts to keep you and your kids busy in anticipation.
This button heart is just so adorable! If you’re like me, with a collection of extra buttons going back at least a decade, then half this craft is already done. I may replicate this with some patterned scrapbook paper and glitter glue to add a little extra pizzazz. (via Hands On as We Grow)
Like most toddlers, T is pretty impatient to finish a craft. These yarn hearts from Shelterness would be a great quick and easy craft to finish together.
T came home from school the other day with a pipe cleaner and bead bracelet. It’s amazing how much she LOVED that thing. Partially because it was a girly pink bracelet, but also because she made it. These beaded pipe cleaner hearts from Kids Bedding Blog would be a fun take on that activity.
How about making some simple tissue paper hearts? These could be a lot of fun hanging from T’s ceiling fan while it’s not in use over the winter time (via Manic Mother)
