This week, I’m participating in The SITS Girls Fall Back Into Blogging Challenge. Each day, bloggers are challenged to post about a specific topic. Today’s challenge is to post about a Favorite Fall memory.
I have a lot of favorite Fall memories. Fall is the time that I moved out of my parent’s house into my first apartment, the season when the husband and I got married, and the season when I’ve been on maternity leave twice now. But none of these are the memory I want to share today.
One of my absolute favorite fall memories is from November 4, 2005. I had just finished a work conference in the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains; and I was taking the scenic route back home. It was incredibly beautiful. I’ve never seen fall leaves like that before, and I still remember enjoying that drive more than any other in a long time.
