Get ready for your patriotic celebration with one of these seven kid-friendly July 4th treats. All seven are tried and tested!
I’ve been known to go out of my way to make cute treats for a celebration.
There were the barnyard donut holes, the Olaf Jello cups, and a myriad of ocean-themed treats. But I rarely ever actually make something fun and festive for Independence Day.
There was that one time, when I hosted a July 4th themed party. That was pretty awesome, actually.
But it’s been a while since anything that adorable has crossed our plates. No more.
Today, Amy from Health, Home, and Heart is sharing 7 kid-friendly July 4th treats that are perfect for your patriotic celebration. But this isn’t just any July 4th collection. What I love about her collection is that:
- She’s tried each of the recipes and treats she’s sharing. Since she’s made all 7 of these treats, she knows if they’re worth making. And,
- My kids could help make most of them. What’s better than a cute, themed treat? One you don’t have to make! Now that my girls are 5 and {almost} 8, they can help out with dipping, drizzling, and putting food on skewers. Score!
So, don’t put off making those adorable July 4th treats. Get ready for all your patriotic parties with Amy’s recommendations.

What is your proudest accomplishment?
I know this is pretty cliche, but my daughter is my proudest accomplishment. She’s only two right now, so I haven’t had enough time to completely screw her up yet. Ha! Seriously, though, she is such a great kid and truly amazes me every day.
What’s the cutest treat you ever made?
Are you making any kid-friendly July 4th treats this year?
